Stationery stickers are often used in study, office, and creative work. The material decides not only the user experience, but also safety and lifetime. For children and people who use stickers often, the material must be safe, suitable, durable, and comfortable to use.

The most important point is non-toxic. Stickers should not contain harmful chemicals like formaldehyde, heavy metals (lead, mercury, cadmium), or plasticizers. These can harm health if children touch or breathe them for a long time.
Avoid cheap PVC stickers, because they may release harmful gases in heat and produce toxic smoke if burned.
Better choices are:
Food-grade PET: safe, no smell, no harmful release, smooth and easy to clean.
Kraft paper (wood pulp paper): natural, biodegradable, and safe even if a child accidentally eats a small piece.
Matte paper without plastic film: eco-friendly and safe for sensitive skin.

Avoid traditional oil-based ink, which may contain harmful VOCs and heavy metals.
Choose water-based ink: safe, no smell, dries fast, no VOCs. It is safe for children to touch often.
Some high-quality stickers also avoid fluorescent agents, which can irritate sensitive skin.
- Functional Fit
Different uses need different materials:
For books and notebooks: use PET or coated paper stickers with medium glue. They stick well but can also be removed without leaving much glue.
For water bottles, pencil boxes, or bags: use waterproof stickers with PP film. They resist water, oil, and rubbing.
For folders, drawers, or walls: use strong adhesive kraft paper or synthetic paper stickers. They last long and resist moisture.
For thin paper (like test papers): use low-stick paper stickers, so the paper won’t tear when removing.
For curved surfaces (like pens or cups): use thin, flexible PET stickers that won’t peel at the edges.
- Durability & Experience
Sticker thickness matters: too thin tears easily, too thick cannot bend on curves.
Good stickers use precise cutting, so edges are smooth and easy to peel by hand. Poor-quality stickers may have rough edges, look ugly, and tear clothes or paper.
